In Japan summer means Fireworks!!! And fireworks come with festivals, yukata and cotton candy. Yesterday we all went to the Hitachi Port festival right near our house. It was windy and a little cold so we did not get to stay too long. Raffaella was so excited to wear her new yukata, and we all took a walk enjoying the traditional food stands and looking at people and young girls wearing the colorful yukata. Chris was excited and very curious about this new experience. Unfortunately he did not enjoy the fireworks too much and got nervous and started shaking.....just like that he fell asleep! Poor baby, maybe next year he will like them more!!

How exciting! Chris' first Natsu-matsuri! Gio, you are looking beautiful! Wish we were there too! Although, Sophie cried about the fireworks on the 4th of July, just like Chris...
